Thank you, so much, for the wonderful welcome to The Great Northwest. I always thought it was called that for the landscape, but now I understand the people here are a big part of the title.
As a KUPL listener, you are an important part of my life. Not only are you my new Northwest family, but you are also helping me live my dream of being a part of what I believe is one of the best radio stations in the country! Without you, my dream does not exist… so thank you for choosing to listen.
You inspire me in more ways than you know. You showed up at my recent appearance, shook my hand, and said, “Hey Leela! Welcome to Portland. We’re glad to have you here.” You warmed my heart and confirmed that I made the right decision in moving here.
You called me and emailed me to tell me the cool places to visit in the area, and it was like having an instant friend who genuinely cares about my experience here in Portland. Again, thank you.
