I moved to Portland when I was about six months old and didn’t leave until I headed down the road to Eugene to get my Journalism degree. About as close as I come to actually using that degree is when I open The Oregonian every morning, but it makes my parents proud…
I got started in radio at Benson High School when I was 16 years old and haven’t looked back.
When I’m not at KUPL, you can find me doing home "improvement" projects on our 102-year-old house, camping, hunting, fishing, playing sports, gardening or tinkering on a car in the driveway. I got married in 2003 and my wife and I couldn’t imagine raising our two young sons anywhere but here.
