My first radio gig was at The Jazz Station at Mt Hood Community College in Gresham – fortunately a lot of really great people took me under their wings, and I learned a ton about radio – and jazz!    

On the other hand, I grew up eating, breathing, and sleeping country music and country radio (I think I’ve been listening to Rick Bubba Taylor since I was born!), so working at KUPL the last couple years has literally been a dream come true for me. I’m so lucky to work at this amazing radio station with some of the MOST INCREDIBLE people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.

Three things people don’t know about me:

If I had my choice, I would go barefoot everywhere from May through October.

I like to eat frosting (yeah, the kind that goes on cakes) by the bowlful!!

I love poetry and have been known to occasionally quote random lines of it without warning.
